Veregy is seeking an entry-level Energy Engineer in Hoffman Estates, IL to support data-driven management reporting. You will collect and organize information from regional teams, consolidating it into standardized reports for leadership insights on performance and cost savings.

The role blends engineering fundamentals with strong analytical skills. Primary focus is data aggregation, quality control, and recurring reporting, not independent design.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, energy systems, applied mathematics, data analytics, or a related technical field.
• Zero to two years of relevant experience; internships, co-op assignments, and academic projects are welcome.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, lookup functions, pivot tables, charts, and working with multiple datasets.
• Ability to organize and analyze information, identify inconsistencies, and document work clearly.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to perform recurring data-maintenance tasks accurately and consistently.

Responsabilidades

• Data aggregation and organization: collect and consolidate information from regional offices, systems, spreadsheets, and project teams.
• Data quality and maintenance: review data for completeness and accuracy, resolve inconsistencies.
• Analysis and management reporting: prepare recurring reports, dashboards, and summaries showing regional and company performance.
• Translate detailed information into clear tables, charts, and concise explanations for management.
• Respond to ad hoc information requests and communicate data limitations clearly.
