Job summary

Veregy is seeking an entry-level Energy Engineer to support data-driven management reporting. The role focuses on collecting, organizing, validating, and maintaining information from regional teams to produce consistent reports for leadership.

Working with engineering, project development, construction, finance, and leadership, you’ll help establish reliable reporting processes and keep data accurate and current. Strong Excel, Power BI, and data analytics skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, energy systems, applied mathematics, data analytics, or a related technical field.
• Zero to two years of relevant experience; internships, co-op assignments, and academic projects are welcome.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, lookup functions, pivot tables, charts, and working with multiple datasets.
• Ability to organize and analyze information, identify inconsistencies, and document work clearly.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to perform recurring data-maintenance tasks accurately and consistently.
• Ability to communicate professionally with technical and nontechnical colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Data aggregation and organization: collect and consolidate information from regional offices and project teams into standardized templates.
• Data quality and maintenance: ensure completeness, accuracy, consistency, and timeliness; resolve discrepancies with data owners.
• Analysis and management reporting: prepare recurring reports and dashboards showing regional and company-wide performance.
• Translate detailed information into clear tables, charts, and concise explanations for management.
• Respond to ad hoc information requests and clearly communicate data limitations or unresolved discrepancies.
