Job summary

Veregy in Hoffman Estates, IL is seeking a Project Manager II - Enterprise to oversee energy performance and design-build construction projects. You will manage multiple subcontracting disciplines, maintain schedules, control costs, and support development by obtaining pricing and scopes from trade partners, ensuring clear communication with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent education, or 10+ years related experience.
• Commercial construction experience required.
• 5-8 years of project management experience in energy, mechanical/electrical, or design-build construction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee energy performance and design-build projects from award through closeout.
• Manage subcontracted scopes and coordinate pricing and proposals.
• Prepare detailed schedules, 3- to 6-week look-forwards, and resource plans.
• Lead meetings with subcontractors and customers, tracking action items.
• Review submittals, RFIs, change orders, and invoices for scope and schedule.
• Present monthly status reports with budget and variance analysis.
• Maintain revenue and cash-flow forecasts with finance/ops.
• Coordinate site logistics, safety, and quality plans with subcontractors.
• Foster relationships with customers, subcontractors, and design partners.
