Job summary

Sargent & Lundy Consulting is seeking a candidate for a hybrid, office-based schedule requiring three days on-site weekly. The role supports due diligence, project financing, and engineering services within the energy sector.

Target start is summer 2027. Candidates should be pursuing a degree in engineering with strong academics and proven Excel/Office capabilities. Prior internships in power systems or finance are valued.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Master's or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical or Civil Engineering with at least six semesters completed.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Consulting Business Group and expand academic background in Engineering and Project Financing.
• Assist in preparation of Consulting proposals, marketing materials, technical presentations, and white papers.
• Support project teams with due diligence of power generation and power system planning projects.
• Track and evaluate project activities and data.
• Prepare technical reports and consulting deliverables including financial models and feasibility studies.
• Provide technical support to utilities, project developers, investors, and financial institutions.
