Montgomery County Government’s Department of Environmental Protection seeks an Energy & Climate Stakeholder Engagement Manager to coordinate outreach for energy efficiency, renewables, and zero-emission vehicle programs. You will build diverse partnerships, plan major conferences, and craft outreach content to explain complex programs.

The role requires driving, flexible scheduling for evenings/weekends, and experience engaging diverse communities.

Competenze

• Experience in communications, outreach, and stakeholder management in energy or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree required; equivalency acceptable with experience.
• Ability to plan large conferences/events and coordinate diverse stakeholders.

Mansioni

• Lead development and execution of the annual Montgomery County Energy Summit and other events.
• Coordinate events, trainings, public hearings, and stakeholder meetings.
• Develop and disseminate outreach materials, including web content and blogs.
• Provide background information, data, and research for program recommendations.
• Engage diverse stakeholder groups and translate outreach materials as needed.
• Support climate initiatives and facilitate public/private collaboration for programs.
