Montgomery County Public Schools is seeking a Project Manager, Sustainability, to support the Division of Sustainability and Compliance. You will oversee design, implementation, and warranty of infrastructure projects, including energy monitoring, solar and building automation initiatives, coordinating with facilities and vendors.

The role requires a strong background in project management, budget planning, and procurement laws, plus excellent communication and collaboration with school staff

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Construction, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Five years of increasing responsibility in engineering, HVAC, building automation, and related fields.
• Knowledge of budget estimation, procurement laws, and bid processes.
• Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in designing, implementing, and supervising sustainability projects.
• Monitor energy usage and expenditures; identify savings opportunities.
• Coordinate with facilities, vendors, and stakeholders; prepare schedules and budgets.
• Present project updates to boards or committees when required.
