Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking an experienced Energy and Climate Solutions Associate for our Washington, D.C. office. The role centers on transactional work in the energy sector, including development of clean energy projects and related innovations.

The successful candidate will draft and negotiate complex contracts, support project and portfolio acquisitions, and engage with diverse energy technologies and regulatory frameworks. JD required; bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.

Qualifications

• JD degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate key project development contracts, including energy PPA and energy service contracts.
• Work on framework commercial agreements and JV transactions.
• Serve as the primary associate on project and portfolio acquisitions and related financing support.
• Adapt commercial structures for diverse energy projects and buyers.
• Structure and negotiate energy project offtake transactions.
• Maintain daily direct contact with clients, partners, and counterparty counsel.
