Job summary

Qualifications

• Be enrolled as a student at an accredited college or university, preferably with at least sophomore status
• Pursuing a Civil Engineering degree
• Have a general interest in site civil design
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to function well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
• Exceptional multitasking and time management skills
• Ability to work independently in a hybrid work environment

Responsibilities

• Work with the Energy team on design elements to support hydrology, grading, permitting, and other site development aspects
• Assist on station civil tasks: site design, stormwater management, access road and culvert design, permitting, grading, surveying, plan production and cost estimation
• Assist on underground transmission tasks: duct bank routing, underground utilities conflict management, permitting, plan production and cost estimation
• Coordinate with internal teams, external subconsultants and clients
• Perform tasks with a high degree of independence
• Work across multiple disciplines to gain knowledge and experience
