Job summary

Woolpert seeks an Energy Group Intern for the Summer in King of Prussia or Enola, PA. This full-time internship (40 hours/week) provides real-world project involvement in hydrology, grading, permitting, and site development for energy transmission projects.

The Intern will join an interdisciplinary Energy team, gain experience across the Energy Market, and work largely onsite with hybrid options. Applicants must be enrolled in Civil Engineering, able to work in the US, and collaborate with

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled as a student at an accredited college or university.
• Pursuing a Civil Engineering degree.
• Interest in site civil design.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Hybrid work arrangement: part in office, part from home.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD/Civil 3D and/or MicroStation preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the industry leading Energy team.
• Gain real-world experience on actual projects alongside Licensed Engineers.
• Assist on station civil tasks: site design, stormwater, access roads, permitting, grading, surveying, plan production, cost estimation.
• Assist on underground transmission tasks: duct bank routing, permitting, plan production, cost estimation.
• Coordinate with internal teams, subconsultants, and clients.
• Perform tasks with a high degree of independence.
• Work across multiple disciplines to gain diverse knowledge.
