To deliver at the scale required to transform the electricity make-up of the US, Fervo is rapidly deploying dozens of powerplants a year. The Energy Associate directly supports scale up by leading the development of processes and infrastructure for the powerplant engineering team. The main responsibilities of this role would be working directly with the engineering teams to understand pain points, work to further professionalize the organization, improve decision quality, and support executive and cross department communication. This is a fast-paced strategy and operations role that blends strategy, engineering, and product management into one, with significant ownership from day one. This role reports to the Engineering Manager on the powerplant engineering team.
Fervo Energy is headquartered in Houston, TX, with growing offices in Golden, CO; Reno, NV; Oakland, CA; and Salt Lake City, UT. Houston if the preferred location for this role, followed by Reno or Oakland.
