Job summary

United Way of South Central Michigan is seeking a Program Assistance Center (PAC) Director to lead the PAC within the Community Impact group. This senior role drives equitable, trauma-informed energy assistance operations and oversees a dedicated team to ensure compliant, high-quality service.

The position is hybrid with three in-office days weekly across Kalamazoo, Battle Creek, Jackson, and Lansing, with occasional region-wide travel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day PAC operations to ensure timely, accurate, accessible, and effective delivery of energy assistance and self-sufficiency services.
• Monitor program volume, staffing capacity, workflows, and service levels and make operational adjustments as needed.
• Manage and lead the PAC team with coaching and performance development.
• Design training modules for PAC staff on processes and eligibility rules.
