Job summary

Cadmus is seeking an analytical professional to apply advanced analytics to generate data-driven insights for utility and government clients. You will lead research design, data analysis, and modeling work across DSM topics, with collaboration across clients and internal teams.

The role emphasizes independent and collaborative work, strong communication, and mentoring of junior staff within a consulting environment and energy sector exposure.

Qualifications

• MA/MS in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science or related quantitative field with 6–8 years experience
• Experience transforming data and programming in R, Python or Stata
• Proven ability to deploy interactive web apps/data visualizations using R-Shiny or Flask/DASH/Power BI/Streamlit
• Experience with databases and SQL
• Expertise in inferential statistics, sampling, research design and regression analysis
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Desire to grow professionally and take on challenging assignments
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel)
• Familiarity with energy sector/utility industry
• Applied research design experience in a consulting setting

Responsibilities

• Lead research design, data collection, analysis, modeling tool development, and reporting for client engagements
• Apply statistical/econometric methods; synthesize results to assess program and policy impacts
• Communicate methods, findings, data sources, and results clearly in reports, dashboards, and visuals
• Manage consulting projects with team collaboration and client interaction
• Provide mentorship and technical support to junior staff
• Develop and nurture client relationships with proactive communication
• Identify and develop business opportunities and proposals for existing/new work
• Ensure deliverables meet Cadmus quality standards and deadlines
