Job summary

The facility designs, develops, and produces solid-propellant propulsion and ordnance systems for government and commercial customers. Ideal candidates will have high school diploma, 2–5 years of manufacturing experience, ability to read schematics, and skills in blue print

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and basic reading and math skills.
• Ability to read and follow written manufacturing instructions.

Responsibilities

• Follow supervision directions and lead technicians for fabrication of rocket motors and support explosives handling.
• Read and follow written manufacturing instructions; coordinate with non-manufacturing personnel.
• Safely handle hazardous materials per OSHA and company policies.
• Operate production equipment (mixers, presses, lathes, scales, hoists, forklift, ovens, paint booths) and instruments (verniers, durometers, height gauge, leak detectors, torque wrenches, resistance meters).
• Support multiple manufacturing areas such as Ordnance, Casting, Insulation, Final Assembly, and Lining when needed.
• Perform daily standard work and adapt as required.
• Identify discrepancies in design, planning, or manufacturing non-conformance to hardware or material.
• Report safety near misses or incidents and tag out equipment as needed.
• Ensure operations meet time allowances for components and escalate when deadlines are at risk.
• Report defective equipment to supervision or leads.
