Job summary

PacSci EMC in Chandler, AZ seeks an engineer to own and improve energetic material manufacturing processes, from dry-blending to advanced synthesis. You’ll work hands-on with production operators and cross-functional teams to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operations in a fully on-site environment.

The role requires strong knowledge of process safety management, SPC, FMEA, and root-cause analysis, with experience in regulated manufacturing or energetic materials being advantageous.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemical Engineering strongly preferred; MS may compensate for experience.
• Experience with PHA, MOC, PSSR, PSM audits and process-safety docs is favored.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments and with energetic materials is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support PSM activities including PHA, MOC, PSSR, audits and action closure.
• Maintain and improve energetic material processes for safety, quality and productivity.
• Provide technical inputs for proposals and support raw material screening and release testing.
• Develop engineering documentation and apply SPC to optimize processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing issues on the shop floor.
