Job summary

Rio Rancho LLC, owner of the New Mexico Goatheads, seeks a high-energy Mascot to portray Billy at home games and community events. You will entertain fans with physical comedy, dances, and interactive entertainment while maintaining the Billy character.

Comfort performing before large crowds with minimal verbal communication, strong improvisation, and teamwork with the Mascot Handler and game presentation staff during rehearsals and games is required.

Qualifications

• Mascot or live performance experience preferred.
• Strong physical performance and non-verbal communication.
• Energetic, creative, and able to improvise.
• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform as Billy during home games and select events.
• Engage fans through physical comedy and interactive entertainment.
• Participate in in-game promotions and planned game elements.
• Develop routines and spontaneous interactions consistent with Billy.
• Maintain the mascot's personality and brand standards.
• Work with Mascot Handler to move safely through crowds.
• Attend rehearsals and prepare mascot skits.
