Pittsburgh Improv is seeking experienced Line Cooks to join our kitchen team. If you love crafting quality dishes, you will work under a kitchen manager to prepare hot and cold foods, follow recipes, and keep stations clean and organized.

This role emphasizes teamwork, adaptability for nights and weekends, and adherence to food safety standards to help us deliver safe, high‑quality meals to guests while maintaining great sanitation and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Teamwork in fast-paced environments.
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends.
• High school diploma, culinary degree, or equivalent.
• 1+ year of restaurant or club experience.
• ServSafe Food Handler Card required.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold foods following recipes and standards.
• Inspect and clean kitchen equipment and surfaces.
• Ensure proper storage and cooking temperatures to maintain safety.
• Communicate with Kitchen Manager when items are unavailable (86).
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas.
