Job summary

VASA Fitness is hiring a Group Fitness Instructor to deliver high-energy, inclusive classes that uplift members and build community. You will motivate participants, demonstrate proper form, and adapt workouts for varying fitness levels in a supportive studio environment.

The role emphasizes punctuality, customer service, and upholding the VASA culture of unity, passion, and integrity while promoting class attendance and member engagement.

Qualifications

• 0-1 year of experience in group fitness or personal training.
• NCCA-accredited Personal Training or Group Fitness Certification.
• Current CPR/AED certification.
• Must hold current certification for applicable format.
• Specialty formats (Zumba, Les Mills, HIGH Fitness, etc.).
• Yoga certification (200 or 500 hour RYT).
• Cycle certifications (Schwinn, Spinning, Beat Boss, AFAA Indoor Cycling).
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and capable of leading a class.

Responsibilities

• Consistently provide an exceptional fitness experience and uphold UPLIFT values.
• Greet members at the door on time and ensure the room is prepared.
• Demonstrate exercises safely and monitor class performance.
• Perform post-class cleaning, sanitizing, and organizing.
• Be approachable, professional, and respond promptly to member needs.
• Teach clear, safe classes with options for various fitness levels.
