Job summary

VASA Fitness is hiring a Group Fitness Instructor to lead high-energy classes and inspire members in a welcoming, inclusive environment. You will deliver engaging workouts, ensure safe demonstrations, and actively promote the studio experience within a supportive community.

The role emphasizes punctuality, professionalism, and strong communication to guide participants of all fitness levels. Healthcare and memberships are part of the benefits package, with a focus on teamwork and growth

Qualifications

• 0-1 Year of experience personal training, small group training and/or group fitness training.
• NCCA-accredited Personal Training or Group Fitness Certification.
• Current CPR/AED Certification.
• Must hold current certification for applicable format.
• Specialty Format (Zumba, Les Mills, HIGH Fitness etc.)
• Yoga Certification (200 or 500 Hour RYT).
• Cycle Certifications (Schwinn, Spinning, Beatboss, AFAA Indoor Cycling).

Responsibilities

• Provide high-energy, inclusive group fitness classes.
• Motivate and uplift members through movement and community.
• Be punctual, prepared, and greet members on arrival.
• Demonstrate exercises safely and monitor class performance.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and bright class environment after sessions.
• Deliver excellent customer service and respond promptly to member needs.

Education

NCCA-accredited Personal Training or Group Fitness Certification

Current CPR/AED Certification

Certification for applicable format

Yoga Certification (200 or 500 Hour RYT)
