Job summary

Makers Union in Reston, VA is seeking a Food Runner to deliver dishes with speed and precision while providing exceptional service. You will work closely with kitchen and waitstaff to ensure a seamless dining experience and represent the brand in a welcoming, energetic environment.

Candidates should be at least 18, able to work flexible shifts including weekends, and have or be willing to obtain certification for responsible alcohol service as required by state law.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• If running drinks, must be of legal age and certified in responsible alcohol service or able to become certified.
• Ability to learn and follow processes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders to guests promptly and accurately.
• Collaborate with kitchen and waitstaff to ensure smooth food delivery.
• Provide attentive and friendly service and exceed guest expectations.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation and dining area.
• Know the menu and ingredients to answer guest questions and make recommendations.
• Act as a brand ambassador and create a welcoming atmosphere.
