Shorty’s Waterfront in West Homestead, PA is seeking an experienced Floor Manager to lead the Front of House team in a high-energy, sports-oriented setting. You’ll drive service standards, coach servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff, and ensure opening through closing shifts run smoothly.

We value hands-on leaders who thrive on guest interaction, manage labor during busy periods, and create memorable experiences for guests attending game days and events.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in restaurant, bar, hospitality, or leadership roles.
• Experience in restaurant management or floor leadership.
• Hands-on leader who loves being on the floor with people.
• Experience leading servers, bartenders, hosts, bussers, and support staff.
• Strong understanding of guest service, operations, labor management, and sales.
• Thrives in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills.
• Calm, organized, and effective during busy shifts.
• A leader who can motivate, coach, develop, and hold a team accountable.
• Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Positive energy, professional presence, and great energy.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, game days, and events.
• Must be 21+

Responsibilities

• Lead FOH team with a positive, energetic culture.
• Run shifts from opening to closing.
• Be visible on the floor, engaging with guests.
• Coach, train, develop, motivate, and retain staff.
• Lead servers, bartenders, hosts, bussers, and support staff.
• Deliver outstanding hospitality through guest interaction and table touches.
• Resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally.
• Manage labor based on business volume.
• Monitor service standards, ticket times, cleanliness, and guest experience.
• Ensure opening/closing side work, cash handling, and void procedures.
• Assist with hiring and onboarding new team members.
• Help execute game days, DJs, events, and large parties.
• Drive sales through service and floor presence.
• Work with culinary and management teams for seamless guest experiences.
• Maintain a clean, safe, welcoming restaurant.
• Lead by example every shift.
