Job summary

Pine Tree Camps at Lynn University is seeking camp counselors to supervise and guide groups of campers in a safe, engaging environment in Boca Raton, FL. You will lead activities, enforce health and safety rules, and help campers build skills and friendships during the summer program.

The role requires caring for children, strong responsibility, and availability for all 9 weeks plus training. This is a seasonal, on-site position with daily campers' activities and supervision.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience caring for children.
• Must be available for all 9 weeks of camp plus a week of training.
• Work Monday to Friday, 35–40 hours a week.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a group of campers (15–21) with a co-counselor.
• Lead and participate in camp activities.
• Interpret health and safety regulations for the group.
• Recognize opportunities for problem-solving within the group.
• Create opportunities for camper-staff interaction and success.
• Set a positive example ( cleanliness, punctuality, teamwork ).
• Report concerns to a coordinator.
• Follow camp rules on smoking, alcohol, and drugs.
