Job summary

Pine Tree Camps at Lynn University seeks camp counselors to supervise groups of 15–21 campers and participate in daily activities at a Florida-based program. Staff ensure safety, engage campers, and model positive behavior during all camp operations.

Candidates must be 16–17, have child-care experience, and be available for all weeks plus training (5/24/27–7/30/27), working Monday to Friday, 35–40 hours weekly.

• Experience caring for children required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with supervising a group of 15–21 campers.
• Participate in camp activities.
• Explain safety and health regulations to the group, including emergency procedures.
• Recognize and respond to opportunities for problem-solving in the group.
• Help develop opportunities for interaction between campers and staff.
• Help ensure each camper experiences success.
• Set a good example for campers, including cleanliness, punctuality, and table manners.
• Report concerns to a coordinator.
• Follow camp rules about smoking, alcohol, and drugs.
