Job summary

Torchy’s Tacos in Houston is seeking an energetic bartender to deliver a Damn Good guest experience, combining bar skills with menu knowledge and Torchy’s recipe-driven cocktails. You will help guests choose offerings, maintain high service standards, and contribute to a lively, welcoming bar environment.

You’ll interact with guests, craft cocktails, keep the bar clean, and work closely with the team to ensure smooth service.

Qualifications

Previous experience preferred.
Must hold a valid state alcohol-server license (e.g., TABC, TIPS, ABLE).
Open to varied work schedules.
Must lift up to 40 pounds.
Standing for long periods; able to walk for extended times.
Bend/stretch/reach for objects on shelves.

Responsibilities

Guest Interaction: Engage with guests in a friendly and outgoing manner, ensuring a welcoming environment.
Cocktail Preparation: Mix and serve cocktails following Torchio’s recipes, maintaining quality and consistency.
Menu Knowledge: Learn the menu and be able to make recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
Service Excellence: Provide prompt and efficient service, handling orders accurately and ensuring guests have what they need.
Bar Maintenance: Keep the bar area clean and organized, restocking supplies as needed and adhering to all safety and sanitation standards.
Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient service.
