Qualifications

• 1–2 years bartending experience in high-volume bars or nightclubs.
• Knowledge of liquor brands, beer, wine, champagne, and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Formal bartending training preferred.
• Must speak fluent English; other languages preferred.
• Alcohol awareness certification or valid health/food handler card as required by local or state government.
• Reading and writing abilities are used when taking orders and paperwork.
• May be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide an energetic, outgoing, fun personality with professionalism.
• Mix ingredients and prepare cocktails and other drinks per recipes.
• Serve wine, bottled or draft beer.
• Take beverage orders from guests or serving staff.
• Check guests’ IDs to ensure legal drinking age.
• Present and promote current promotions to guests.
• Accurately record orders and secure payment; record tips per policy.
• Move about bar and kitchen safely; lift up to 50 pounds.
