Job summary

Live! Arena Arlington is seeking a bartender to join our high-volume venue team. You will mix cocktails, pour beer and wine, and deliver friendly, professional service during events and everyday operations.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of bartending experience in high-volume bars or nightclubs.
• Knowledge of liquor brands, beer, wine, champagne and garnishments.
• Formal bartending training preferred.
• Must speak fluent English; other languages preferred.
• Strong communication with guests, cooks, wait staff and supervisors.
• Alcohol awareness certification or food service permit as required by local law.
• Reading and writing abilities for taking orders and paperwork.
• Basic math skills are required.
• May be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide an energetic, outgoing, and professional service.
• Mix cocktails and prepare drinks according to recipes.
• Serve wine, beer, and bottled or draft beer.
• Take beverage orders from guests or staff.
• Communicate effectively with guests and teammates.
• Record orders and payments accurately and report tips per policy.
• Be knowledgeable about products to enhance guest experience.
• Check IDs to ensure legal drinking age.
• Present and promote current promotions to guests.
• Complete side work as assigned.
