Job summary

CSU Fullerton Auxiliary Services Corporation is seeking Titans After School Program Instructors for a part-time role in Fullerton, CA. Instructors support 3rd–8th graders with supervision, tutoring, and enrichment, Monday through Friday 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm, with Thursday early release 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm.

Funding is grant-based and contingent upon ongoing funding. Ideal candidates are energetic, organized, and able to maintain a positive, structured learning environment while following curriculum

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Ability to manage a classroom of 20-25 students in a program.
• Understanding behavior management and effective disciplinary techniques.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized with strong interpersonal skills.
• Able to track curriculum and binders at the site.
• Enthusiastic, motivated, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Implement program rules and procedures with professionalism.
• Support supervisor and follow directions.
• Communicate with Site Coordinator about program at the site.
• Report incidents through the chain of command.
• Clock in/out and manage timesheets as scheduled.
• Attend weekly staff meetings and collaborate with staff.
• Provide students with educational enrichment and tutoring.
• Ensure safe, supervised learning environment at all times.
• Create monthly lesson plans with supervisor approval.
• Manage program materials and track student progress.
