National Multiple Sclerosis Society in the Midwest seeks an Assistant Director of Endurance & Community Events to drive revenue through Walk MS and Bike MS campaigns. You will lead planning, logistics, and donor engagement across the market, while guiding volunteer committees and optimizing participant experiences.

You will partner with regional teams, manage data-driven fundraising strategies, and ensure alignment with organizational standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fundraising, donor relations, or development support within a nonprofit or similar environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling donor communications and reports.
• Proficiency in donor database systems (e.g., Raiser’s Edge, Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with fundraising platforms is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with donors, volunteers, and internal stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Campaign Leadership & Execution: Supports the strategic planning, and oversees execution, logistics, and optimization of assigned fundraising campaigns within the market.
• Revenue Accountability: Owns performance from inception through to completion and monitors financial performance to meet portfolio goals.
• Strategic Adaptation & Alignment: Translates national strategies into local plans aligned to market dynamics.
• Donor & Volunteer Engagement: Cultivates, solicits, and steward mid-level fundraising teams, sponsors, and key volunteers.
• Performance Management & Data Analysis: Analyzes data trends and uses CRM data to drive strategy and reporting.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partners with internal teams to integrate campaign efforts and ensure confidentiality.
