Job summary

National MS Society in Denver, CO seeks an Assistant Director of Endurance Events to drive revenue through the Bike MS program and related campaigns. You will lead strategic planning, coordinate event logistics, and manage volunteer committees to ensure outstanding donor and participant experiences.

The role requires strong fundraising experience, donor communications, and proficiency with Raiser’s Edge/Salesforce and Office tools. Travel and regional collaboration are part of the scope.

Qualifications

• Experience in fundraising, donor relations, or development support within a nonprofit environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to craft donor communications and reports.
• Proficiency in donor database systems (e.g., Raiser’s Edge, Salesforce) and in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with fundraising platforms is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with donors, volunteers, and internal stakeholders.
• Knowledge of fundraising best practices, donor stewardship strategies, and event coordination.

Responsibilities

• Campaign Leadership & Execution: plan, oversee logistics and optimization of campaigns within the market.
• Revenue Accountability: drive revenue, monitor performance and adjust strategies to meet portfolio goals.
• Strategic Adaptation & Alignment: translate national strategies to local plans and align with regional priorities.
• Donor & Volunteer Engagement: cultivate and steward mid-level fundraising teams, sponsors, and volunteer leaders.
• Performance Management & Data Analysis: analyze data trends, create donor profiles, and use CRM to manage data and campaigns.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: partner with internal teams for seamless campaign integration and maintain data privacy.
