Job summary

Peraton is seeking an experienced Endpoint Software Configuration Management Engineer to join our national intelligence program. The role focuses on building and maintaining release pipelines, automating CI/CD processes, and ensuring secure, reliable software deployment across multiple environments.

You will work with engineering, operations, and QA to deliver timely software builds, manage source control, and improve release governance.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to pass and obtain a poly clearance.
Bachelor’s degree minimum; Master’s degree +3 years or PhD with 0 years is also acceptable.
Proficiency in version control systems and tracking changes across environments.
Familiarity with automation tools to streamline release, deployment and configuration management processes.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and senior leaders.

Responsibilities

Develop, analyze, and maintain tools that support hardware/software release processes.
Write installation scripts and programs for product installation.
Initiate build and packaging processes based on schedules.
Automate software build, test and deployment for CI/CD.
Design release pipelines for smooth software rollouts.
Train and mentor team members on build and CI tools.
Maintain documentation on release procedures and configurations.
Ensure source code is in proper version control and manage environments.
