Job summary

Visa seeks a Release coordinator/engineer who blends software engineering with security analytics. You will manage CI/CD, automate builds/tests, and ensure secure deployments for the Visa Screening Platform under the CIT group. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to safeguard production environments and drive zero-defect releases.

The role emphasizes security-by-design, patching, monitoring, and collaboration across Security, Ops, and Development teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, Information Systems, or related field, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Minimum 4 years of directly related experience.
• 4 years of Scripting experience (Shell, Python, Ansible, Terraform and YAML packages).
• Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle processes.
• Working knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Fluentbit, Netcool, Humio).
• Deep understanding of networking concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee the organization's CI/CD pipeline.
• Implement automation tools for build, test, and deployment.
• Ensure system compliance with security standards.
• Coordinate all aspects of software releases, from planning to deployment.
• Monitor release progress, identify issues, and resolve promptly.
• Act as a security analyst identifying vulnerabilities and countermeasures.
• Collaborate with Security, Operations, Development, Testing, and other teams.
