Job summary

Ledgent Technology seeks an Imaging Desktop Technician to support a device migration and endpoint management initiative. You will image and deploy Windows laptops, ensure Hybrid Azure AD Join, and manage endpoints using Intune and other tools.

The role focuses on transitioning users from VMs to physical devices with end-user support and scripting for automation. The project is a 5-month contract with onsite work for a 70-endpoint environment, requiring strong communication and independent work

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in desktop support, endpoint engineering, or device deployment projects.
• Hands-on experience imaging and deploying Windows laptops.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune device management and enrollment.
• Knowledge of Hybrid Azure AD Join and domain-joined device configurations.
• Experience with endpoint management solutions such as NinjaOne, SCCM/MECM, Workspace ONE, ManageEngine, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of Windows operating systems and workstation troubleshooting.
• Experience using command-line tools for system administration and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently while providing excellent customer service to end users.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Migrate users from VM environments to physical laptop deployments.
• Image, configure, and deploy Windows laptops for end users.
• Reset and rebuild devices for Hybrid Azure AD Join and domain connectivity.
• Install and migrate software from VDI to local devices.
• Manage endpoints using Intune and other tools.
• Assist with automation of endpoint management processes.
• Troubleshoot device enrollment, domain join, and endpoint management issues.
• Use command-line tools to support deployments and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with end users during migration and deployment.
• Ensure devices comply with standards and security policies.
• Document deployment procedures and configurations.
