Virginia Tech's Blackwood Department of Real Estate invites applications for an Associate or Full Professor to hold the Blackwood Endowed Chair. This tenured, academic-year appointment begins August 10, 2027, with a teaching load of 9 credits and ongoing research in top journals.

The successful candidate will engage in experiential learning, service activities, and contribute to the department's international reputation, expanding teaching and research capacity within Pamplin College of Business.

Qualificações

• Teaching experience at undergraduate and/or graduate levels in real estate or related courses.
• Engagement with professional real estate societies, organizations, or industry associations.
• Experience mentoring junior faculty, early-career scholars, or other academic colleagues.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct research leading to publications in top journals.
• Teach three courses (9 credits) annually in the undergraduate real estate program.
• Engage in experiential learning activities for students and participate in service activities.
• Contribute to department and college initiatives and collaborate with faculty and staff.

Ph.D. in real estate or related discipline
