Virginia Tech's Blackwood Department of Real Estate invites applications for an Associate or Full Professor who will hold the Blackwood Endowed Chair. The position is tenured, starts Aug 10, 2027, with a 3-course teaching load and active service duties to raise the department's academic and professional profile.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. in real estate or related discipline, a nationally/internationally recognized research program, and be willing to travel to conferences.

• Explore trends, present at conferences, engage in policy debate.
• Contribute to Pamplin+ focusing on technology readiness and workforce prep.
• Work collegially and collaboratively with faculty and staff.
