Qualifications

• Certification: BC/BE in Neurology, Neurosurgery with subspecialty in Neuro-interventional Surgery and Vascular Neurology.
• MD or DO with residency in Neurology/Neurosurgery or fellowship in Neuro-interventional Surgery, Interventional Neurology and Vascular Neurology.
• Illinois Medical license or pending

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced neuro-interventional procedures including endovascular coiling, stenting, thrombectomy, embolization, and angiography.
• Lead evaluation and treatment planning for complex cerebrovascular cases.
• Collaborate with neurologists, neurosurgeons, radiologists and other specialists for integrated care.
• Coordinate with stroke-trained nurses and APPs to optimize patient care.
• Participate in on-call rotation for neuro-interventional and vascular neurology coverage.
• Engage in clinical research with a dedicated research team.
• Join a large multidisciplinary neurology and neurosurgery group within Endeavor Health.

What You Will Need

• Participate in the on-call rotation to provide neuro-interventional and vascular neurology coverage as needed, ensuring continuous patient care.
• Engage in clinical research to advance the fields of neuro-intervention and vascular neurology with support by a dedicated research team, as desired
• Join an outstanding multidisciplinary team and robust referral base that includes excellent Neurologists, Neurosurgeons, Physiatrists, Neuro-Psychologists, and Neuro-Radiologists.
• Join one of the largest academic Neurology and Neurosurgery groups in the Chicago region.
• Work with an interdisciplinary team of nationally recognized medical professionals within the Endeavor Health Neurosciences.
