Job summary

The Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. is hiring a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to join our Nursing team for a 40-hour day shift (7:00 AM–5:30 PM) with no weekends, holidays, or on-call. Onsite position at 75 Francis Street, Boston.

Responsibilities include supporting the Registered Nurse with glucometry, EKGs, vital signs, and responding to patient and family needs to keep the unit running efficiently. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required or equivalent experience.
• Nursing Assistant Certification required upon hire.
• Bilingual skills preferred and helpful in patient care.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Support the RN with clinical tasks including glucometry, EKGs and vital signs.
• Respond to patient and family needs and help maintain unit efficiency.
