Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking an experienced Endoscopy Technologist to join the team at Baptist Medical Center Clay in Jacksonville, Florida. This PRN position requires precision and teamwork to support the Endoscopy unit during operative procedures.

The ideal candidate will ensure a sterile environment, assist surgeons with instruments, and prioritize patient safety. Candidates must have less than 1 year of relevant experience and hold a High School Diploma and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year Surgical Technologist Experience.
• Less than 1 year Endoscopy Technologist Experience Required.

Responsibilities

• Assembling, organizing, and maintaining a sterile field for operative procedures.
• Anticipating the needs of the surgeon and progression of the case.
• Proper disposition of specimens and instruments.
• Works with the surgical team to minimize anesthesia time.
