Job summary

Baptist Health - Central Alabama is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to assist with endoscopy procedures and scope care at Baptist Medical Center South. You will set up and turnover cases, maintain a sterile field, and support the Endoscopy team.

The role requires a high school diploma, BLS, and preferred Endoscopy or OR experience. You will follow aseptic technique, OSHA guidelines, and infection control policies while handling equipment, supplies, and inventory.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Endoscopy or OR experience preferred.
• Completion of a certified patient care technician or nursing assistant program.
• Ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Set up and turnover assigned endoscopy cases.
• Maintain a sterile field and aseptic technique.
• Care for equipment and supplies, stock and inventory.
• Adhere to OSHA, SNGA and infection control policies.
