Job summary

Englewood Health in Englewood, NJ is seeking an Endoscopy Equipment Technician to support the Endoscopy Suite. You will inspect and operate endoscopy equipment, prepare requisitions, and maintain instruments and supplies under supervision.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 2+ years of related experience, knowledge of aseptic technique and high-level disinfection, and certification within 2 years of hire.

Qualifications

• Two years of related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of endoscopy equipment, aseptic technique, and high-level disinfection required.
• Excellent communication skills and rapport in all interactions; must be a team player.
• Strong service excellence skills and interdepartmental cooperation expected.

Responsibilities

• Inspects and functionally operates all Endoscopy equipment, electric power instruments and audiovisual equipment.
• Prepares purchase requisitions and disposition of storeroom supplies.
• Maintains an adequate inventory and processes/manages instruments, scopes and equipment.
• Maintains records on equipment and associated paperwork.
• Assists physician and nurse in procedure rooms of the Endoscopy Suite under supervision.
