Job summary

SCA Health in Rockville, Maryland is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to support endoscopy procedures and patient care. You will assist the endoscopy team, prepare equipment, and ensure patient safety throughout the procedure.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Prior Experience as a GI Tech preferred.
• Successful completion of BCLS Course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with endoscopy procedures and prepare supplies and instruments.
• Maintain an organized sterile field and ensure patient safety throughout the procedure.
• Provide patient advocacy and effective hand-off to teammates after procedures.
• Clean and prepare equipment and room for subsequent patients and handle procured supplies.
