Piedmont Mountainside Hospital is seeking an Endoscopy Unit Secretary to support ambulatory care and endoscopy services. The role involves assisting physicians during procedures, maintaining supplies, and handling clerical tasks to keep patient flow smooth.

The ideal candidate holds a GED, with preferred GI/OR tech or CNA/MA training. BCLS certification is required at hire, and prior unit experience is a plus. This is an on-site position within a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• GI/OR Technology program preferred.
• CNA/MA program preferred.
• No experience required.
• Previous experience as Unit Secretary or CNA/MA preferred.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required on hire.

Responsabilités

• Assists the physician in endoscopic procedures.
• Maintains supplies and equipment in Endoscopy Department.
• Cleans and disinfects equipment per policy.
• Provides patient care under direction of RN.
• Performs clerical duties to ensure ambulatory care and endoscopy run smoothly.
• Assembles and maintains patient charts and records.
• Completes charges for patients.
