Job summary

Piedmont Mountainside Hospital is seeking a capable individual to assist the Endoscopy Department and Ambulatory Care team. The role involves supporting physicians during endoscopic procedures, maintaining supplies, and performing necessary clerical tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Requires a GED and BCLS certification; GI/OR tech or CNA/MA experience preferred. Prior unit secretary or CNA/MA experience is a plus in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• GI/OR Technology program or CNA/MA preferred.
• BCLS – Basic Life Support certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist the physician in endoscopic procedures.
• Maintain supplies and equipment in Endoscopy Department.
• Disinfect equipment according to policy.
• Provide patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
• Perform clerical duties to support Ambulatory Care and Endoscopy.
• Assemble and maintain patient chart materials and records.
• Complete charges for patients.
