Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient patient transport to, within and from the unit.
• Assist with positioning of patients and basic patient care during procedures.
• Handle lab specimens with proper labeling and transport to Lab.
• Set up rooms and equipment for procedures and ensure turnover time.
• Communicate pertinent information to RN/Charge Nurse/Manager/Physician.
• Assist in pre- and post-procedure care under RN guidance.
• Ensure endoscopes are decontaminated per SGNA standards.
