Job summary

Medical City Sachse is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to support GI and endoscopy procedures. You will prepare procedure rooms and endoscopy equipment, verify it is in proper working order, and keep supplies organized to support safe, efficient care.

You will position and transport patients safely, assist physicians and nurses during procedures, handle instruments, and help disinfect, sterilize, and document equipment and processes.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare procedure rooms and endoscopy equipment, verify equipment is in proper working order, and keep supplies organized.
• Position and transport patients safely using proper body mechanics.
• Assist physicians and nurses during procedures, including handling instruments and collecting specimens.
• Clean, disinfect, and sterilize endoscopy equipment, and keep accurate records for quality and safety.
• Communicate with kindness and compassion to patients and families, keeping them informed and protecting privacy.
