Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network in Stroudsburg, PA, seeks an Endoscopy Technician to support the GI Lab. You will care for and maintain GI endoscopes, assist nurses and physicians during procedures, and help prepare rooms and equipment for cases.

The role includes patient transport, pre‑op and post‑op calls as guided, inventory management, scheduling assistance, and basic computer tasks in the GI database. A High School diploma and BLS are required or planned orientation.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED; specialized training in processing instruments a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs care and maintenance of GI Endoscopes.
• Set up and breakdown of procedures in GI rooms.
• Provides intra-procedure assistance to nurses and physicians.
• Assists with transport of patients between pre/post procedure areas.
• Clean, disinfect or calibrate scopes and other endoscopic instruments.
• Maintain working inventories of endoscopic equipment and supplies.
• Assist with scheduling patients and inputting information in the GI database.
