Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to maintain GI endoscopes and support nurses and physicians in the Endoscopy Unit. The role includes patient transport, pre- and post-procedure calls, and assisting with intra-procedure needs in the GI Lab, OR, and critical care units.

In addition to basic computer skills, candidates should complete orientation and a BLS course. The position offers comprehensive benefits and a clear path for ongoing professional development

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED Equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Performs care and maintenance of GI Endoscopes.
• Prepares and assists during GI procedures in the GI Lab, OR, and critical care units.
• Transports patients between areas and assists with scheduling and inputting information in the GI database.
• Maintains inventory and restocks supplies; assists with instrument troubleshooting.
