Job summary

Penn Medicine Doylestown Health is seeking a full-time GI Tech to support the Outpatient GI Lab. You will assist RNs and physicians with endoscopic procedures, stock supplies, and help maintain endoscopes and equipment.

Responsibilities include helping patients onto stretchers, guiding them to store belongings, changing into gowns, and reporting patient and physician requests to nursing staff while using the hospital information system.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• Endoscope reprocessing knowledge and handling.
• Experience or ability to assist in endoscopy procedures.
• Commitment to infection control practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist RNs and physicians with endoscopic procedures and routine patient-care tasks.
• Stock supplies and maintain endoscopy equipment and instruments.
• Assist patients to stretchers, store belongings, and change into gowns.
• Maintain and operate the hospital information system as directed.
