Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist with direct nursing care under RN supervision.

• Assist physician during procedures and label specimens.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure cooperation.
• Take and record vital signs during and after procedures.
• Maintain infection control and safety protocols.
• Document on forms/computer as required.
• Provide back-up support for area and office as needed.
