Job summary

Endeavor Health Careers is seeking a Registered Nurse - Endoscopy in Elmhurst, IL to provide professional nursing care during endoscopy procedures. The role requires critical thinking, patient assessment, and collaboration with the care team on a full-time schedule.

The position requires an associate degree in nursing (BSN within 5 years), IL RN license, CPR, ACLS and PALS within 90 days, with Endoscopy experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing or higher (BSN required within 5 years).
• Illinois RN licensure required.
• Current CPR (BLS) by AHA or ARC.
• ACLS within 90 days of start date.
• PALS within 90 days of start date.
• Endoscopy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Renders professional nursing care; assess and monitor patients, record observations.
• Delegate appropriate tasks and work as a team member to meet unit goals.

Hours: M-F 7a to 7p , Call Requirements (including Days, Nights, Holidays)

What you will do

Renders professional nursing care to provide quality patient care. Employing critical thinking skills, assesses patients’ condition, recognizes deviations, plans and evaluates care, monitors patients’ progress, and records pertinent observations. Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff. Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals. The following are general characteristics of this job, although duties may vary by assigned unit or shift.

What you will need

• Education: Associate degree in nursing or higher level nursing degree (BSN required within 5 years from start date)
• License/Certification: Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
• Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within ninety days of start date into position
• Pediatric Life Support (PALS) within ninety days of start date into position
• Experience: Previous Endoscopy experience preferred
