Endeavor Health in Naperville is seeking a Registered Nurse - Endoscopy to join our surgical services team. You will provide professional nursing care, assess patients, plan and evaluate care, and document observations, with a focus on quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include delegating care tasks, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and participating in performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Education: ADN or higher (BSN required within 5 years from start date).
• License: Illinois RN, BLS, ACLS within 90 days, PALS within 90 days.
• Experience: Endoscopy experience preferred.

• Provide professional nursing care; assess patients and plan/evaluate care.
• Delegate tasks and work as part of a team to meet unit goals.
• Document observations and monitor patient progress.

Hourly Pay Range

$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $37.25 base pay hourly rate beginning with the second paycheck in October.

What You Will Do

Renders professional nursing care to provide quality patient care. Employing critical thinking skills, assesses patients’ condition, recognizes deviations, plans and evaluates care, monitors patients’ progress, and records pertinent observations. Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff. Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals. The following are general characteristics of this job, although duties may vary by assigned unit or shift.

What You Will Need

• Education:
  • Associate degree in nursing or higher level nursing degree (BSN required within 5 years from start date)
• License/Certification:
  • Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
  • Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within ninety days of start date into position
  • Pediatric Life Support (PALS) within ninety days of start date into position
• Experience:
  • Previous Endoscopy experience preferred
