Job summary

Endeavor Health in Naperville, IL seeks an Endoscopy Technician to prepare the GI area for procedures, assist the team, and support efficient turnover of procedure rooms. The role requires one year of related healthcare experience and CPR/BLS certification, with a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.

Full-time hours are 6:30am–5:30pm, with 10-hour shifts and on-call nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Education requirements include a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Endoscopy technicians must have hands-on experience in endoscopic procedures.
• CPR (BLS) certification is required.
• Previous healthcare-related tech experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the GI area and patients for procedures under supervision.
• Assist in endoscopic procedures and support the physician and nurse in procedure rooms.
• Ensure equipment is cleaned and sterile, stock supplies, and perform related clerical duties.

Position Highlights

• Sign on bonus: $7500

(2 years of Endoscopy experience required to qualify for the sign-on bonus)

• Location: Edward Hospital – Naperville, IL
• Full Time:
• Hours: Availability 6:30am - 5:30pm M-F w flexible start times (10-hour shifts) will required call (Nights, weekends, holidays included)

What You Will Do

Under general supervision and according to established procedures, prepares the GI area and patients for procedures. In conjunction with the registered nurse, coordinates necessary procedures for efficient turnaround of procedure rooms and serves as technical support to physician and nurse in assigned procedure rooms. Ensures equipment is cleaned following established aseptic techniques. Stocks routine supplies, assists in Endoscopic procedures as directed, and performs related clerical duties.

Required

What you will need:

• High‑school diploma or GED
• Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by either American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Minimum one year of previous Endoscopy, surgical tech or technical level healthcare-related experience

Preferred

• Certified gastroenterology associate/technician preferred but will train motivated candidate
